This is a conference that should have had the biggest emitters of carbon dioxide invited to shame these countries like the U.S. The G-8 has only 8 countries that meet to brag about how economically powerful they are. This dilutes the role they may feel in causing this disaster when they are mixed with low emitting countries. Many of these countries have the technology but regulatory inaction, political corruption, incompetence prevent full implementation.
I say carbon dioxide but it is anything that you extract from the ground and transfer it to our atmosphere. You are turning the ground into an insulator and our atmosphere into a conductor. Instead of measuring carbon dioxide we should be taking precise weight of air at fixed points many times or use light.
The amount of people living in colder climates has grown exponentially that heat up millions of homes, factories, and offices from fossil fuels. There are more kinetic energy from cars and other forms of motion that expands the distribution of energy. My theory is this energy wave weakens as it covers a larger area than refocuses near the poles when they converge. This denser atmosphere affect human physiology linked to health problems.
Even if you dispute climate change these type of fuels can cause other problems and is unsustainable. Intentionally hidden from the public due to greed, many of my ideas that I will be publishing shortly have spurred growth in clean energy around the world such as natural gas/solar plant in Florida that was recently built.
The Solution:
1. We need to highly control the supply of fossil fuels through government intervention. There is no market solution that eventually diminish their use. Would slavery end with mechanization and technology? No there would be less slaves running a machine. The price of slaves would drop allowing more people to own one. This same dynamic occurs between fossil fuels and renewable energy.
2. Clean energy companies should build factories in states that are proactive about climate change like California. As these companies grow, they should use their economic clout to affect change in government.
3. We should focus on atmospheric density rather than carbon dioxide levels which would be easy to do with light or weight.
4. Treating our air like we do water, we should develop technology to purify our air within buildings and cities. Would you pay $20 to breath good clean air? Relying on Nature to replenish our oxygen and remove carbon is stupid. I can think of dozens of technologies that could be deployed that would monetized this asset that we disregard because it is tasteless and odorless.
