Re: TI Responds To Q Tip's @IggyAzalea: Blacks "Paranoid", Mad Whites Won't Kiss Our
I'ma be honest... I really only heard 1 song from EITHER of these bitches and it's that song by Iggy w/ Tip on it... can't remember the name of it, but it sounded like she had some flow
I don't know about none of her racist shit, I remember somebody posted a line with something about a slavemaster or ... some shit like that, but I didn't actually hear the song, just read it on bgol.
I wouldn't buy her shit, but I'm sure somebody would
HipHop has a place for everybody it seems, and it's enough money for everybody too.
Without knowing exactly what she said.... I feel where yall coming from. We (hip-hop, rap, & black community) can't give any & everythang a pass just cuz it make us a lil money, hell even if it make us a lot of money. We gotta stand for more than the $, collectively. If we don't, then we ain't no better than those that worship money and treat capitalism like it's their religion. And collectivity starts with individuals... How do we tell TIP that, "Aye, we aiight with you eating off this white bitch, but she can't just say anything she want to without repercussions"?
I feel policing our own shit... I do, and Hip-Hop/Rap is OURS, just not exclusively anymore.
On the other hand, it's been plenty times I done heard Tip say "cracka" or "Peckerwood" on a song. I'm black so I'm biased, I like hearing niggas talk about crackas
I guess what's good for the goose ain't good for the gander when the goose created the medium by which the gander is benefiting.
Just like Sony & that movie about North Korea ... Just because you have the right to do something..... doesn't make it right
