There is a double standard though. Whenever a Dez Bryant or some other black player shows emotion, it's always framed as "losing control" or a "hissy fit". You won't hear about this on ESPN in that context if at all.

thomas ran the wrong route, he was suppose to go outside instead of inside and peyton let him know about it...any qb black or white should have done same thing..it was in the 4th in a close game...and truth be told if peyton was eli or matt cassel he wouldnt get a pass for that; but qbs like him or brady(a brady does it all the time) get passes..

Although I have no issue with Dez and understand that he is a passionate yet emotional dude, he has developed a tainted reputation by the media whereas Peyton Manning has not. In addition, QB's at Peyton's level will always be given more credence and praise than a wide receiver.
