There were signs pointing everywhere in last night's episode to Nucky figuring out who the 'skunk' was in his camp. The amount that the guy was asking from Nucky was a clue. He kept escalating the amount. He was letting Nucky know this was big news. Nucky even mentioned to Eli how much the guy was asking for. Nucky's facial expressions at the dinner table were big as well especially when he saw how Eli reacted with his wife. The nephew was about to get emotional before his mom came outside and finally Nucky gave him what can be likened to the kiss Michael Corleone gave his brother Fredo when he repeated the poem Eli wrote when he was 13 and he told Eli that perhaps he was jealous of him and that's why he use to bother him about the girl.

Eli is shit. When the hammer falls he will use the excuse that he did it for his son but this is the second time Eli has fucked his brother over.

True ,but he was also escalating the amount because the boys were coming for him.. the closer they got...the amount increased,but it could also have been a hint for nucky..as they've known each other and done business long enough ..then again... naw he doesn't strike me as the "sentimental kind" Yep the writers were talking about the table scene like I said in the after episode talks

And the god father example is good.. in the sense were the brains.. Nuck aka Micheal.. has the "dumb brother" who's a fuck up.. and disloyal and finally got tired of it..
