I wasnt sure earlier in the season if the Lakers were gonna make it but after seeing a bunch of fluke games and games where the refs blew calls giving the Lakers games I am SURE they are making it

And by the way Utah started playing like they gave zero fucks anyway so I cant be mad if they dont see the playoffs. They were playing like they were already on vacation

Then dude started to assist-hog, while having Steve Nash on the team who's more than capable at averaging at least 8 assist these days...

This all started before Dwight even got there. Telling Dwight that he would be a great 3rd option on the Lakers... Even though Dwight was perhaps the 3rd best player in the league when Kobe said that.

Kobe ruined the teams chemistry early on.

I've never seen a team with that much talent miss the playoffs... I didn't even think it was possible...

But hey, at least Kobe got his stats...

...the Lakers are in the top 10 in offense, and the bottom 10 in defense.

The Miami Heat, who are no. 1 in their Conference, average less than one point per game more. Miami, on the other hand, is ranked no. 6 in defense.

Kobe has 'gotten has stats' for a long time, but his team has missed the playoffs once since Shaq left, and have been to the Finals three times.

It's so easy to put everything on Kobe, but the Lakers ain't gonna miss the playoffs because of Kobe's offense, but LA's lack of defense.

If you can SOMEHOW twist a top 10 offense into a cause for LA possibly missing the playoffs, but believe the entire Lakers team ain't responsible for their finishing in the bottom 10 teams in the league in defense...

...then you just want to blame Kobe.

Statistically speaking, there is absolutely no way you can blame the Lakers offense, or Kobe's 'stat padding'. Kobe averaged 35.4ppg and less than 5 assist and still made the playoffs...

...but they ALSO finished 15th in defense that year.

...AND they made the playoffs.

They ALSO finished 15th in DEFENSE last year.

He shot LESS this year, more efficiently, and they may possibly MISS the playoffs.

However, they were ranked no. 15 in defense last year, but no. 22 this year...

no knicks player has started more than 66 games. only 3 knicks have started more than 60 games.

with the exception of jason kidd, no other knick has even started 40 games.
