I know most of y’all are pissed. I know most of y’all don’t like my opinion. To be honest I don’t care. I am still going to tell you how I feel.
I am being honest about this. I thought Manny won. But he did the thing that I hate the most in boxing. I hate when fighters don’t try to close out a fight. The exact same way he beat Juan in their last match up was how he lost last night. You don’t do that. I mean who is not well school in Oscar vs. Tito. This fight was like that in so many ways. Tito never backed up and just kept coming and coming. Then Oscar who thought he had the fight in the bag decided to coast. You never coast in a fight. I am a firm believer you don’t take of any rounds. Not even the first round folks. And you never give up the finally three. Especially when your opponent is doing nothing but coming forward all fight. Here is what I saw.
1) Manny Threw the harder shots
2) 2Manny was only effective in the last half or minute of the round
3) Timmy showed heart and never backed up. Even when hurt.
4) Timmy controlled the pace of each round.
5) Every exchange Manny threw Timmy came back.
6) Five of the first ten rounds were freaking close
7) Timmy took the championship rounds
8) Manny coasted the championship rounds
Listen, I thought Manny won the fight. I don’t have a problem losing because he did the second thing I hate the most in boxing. He looked at his star status in the sport as an advantage in the ring. Oscar did that and lost to Tito. Bhop did that and lost to Taylor. I firmly believe you don’t have to knock a champion out to win his belt. You only need to win more rounds. Forget that close fight stuff. One round at a time; never give up a round to your opponent. And Fuck Comp U Box. Those totals were bullshit.
Now we know there won't be a PBF and Manny fight. It isn't needed now. Manny has the chance for an interesting trilogy. PBF will find another foe and bore people once again with his incredible but boring fight style. PBF's only options are to fight more outclassed fighters and carry them as he did Cotto. So with the big fight off the table we can now focus on boxing's other stars. Last night was a good night for the sport. You just have to many tears to see it right now.

The November date was set before Bradley was picked for an opponent for last night.
Stop crying. Manny took an 'L'. Deal with it.
)If that wasn't the case then I agree that he needed to close the show, because Bradley stayed game and alert even when he was getting rocked... Something that can be misinterpreted by judges, especially if they suck
