Manny and PBF fans are going to cry in the car

I know most of y’all are pissed. I know most of y’all don’t like my opinion. To be honest I don’t care. I am still going to tell you how I feel.

I am being honest about this. I thought Manny won. But he did the thing that I hate the most in boxing. I hate when fighters don’t try to close out a fight. The exact same way he beat Juan in their last match up was how he lost last night. You don’t do that. I mean who is not well school in Oscar vs. Tito. This fight was like that in so many ways. Tito never backed up and just kept coming and coming. Then Oscar who thought he had the fight in the bag decided to coast. You never coast in a fight. I am a firm believer you don’t take of any rounds. Not even the first round folks. And you never give up the finally three. Especially when your opponent is doing nothing but coming forward all fight. Here is what I saw.

1) Manny Threw the harder shots
2) 2Manny was only effective in the last half or minute of the round
3) Timmy showed heart and never backed up. Even when hurt.
4) Timmy controlled the pace of each round.
5) Every exchange Manny threw Timmy came back.
6) Five of the first ten rounds were freaking close
7) Timmy took the championship rounds
8) Manny coasted the championship rounds

Listen, I thought Manny won the fight. I don’t have a problem losing because he did the second thing I hate the most in boxing. He looked at his star status in the sport as an advantage in the ring. Oscar did that and lost to Tito. Bhop did that and lost to Taylor. I firmly believe you don’t have to knock a champion out to win his belt. You only need to win more rounds. Forget that close fight stuff. One round at a time; never give up a round to your opponent. And Fuck Comp U Box. Those totals were bullshit.

Now we know there won't be a PBF and Manny fight. It isn't needed now. Manny has the chance for an interesting trilogy. PBF will find another foe and bore people once again with his incredible but boring fight style. PBF's only options are to fight more outclassed fighters and carry them as he did Cotto. So with the big fight off the table we can now focus on boxing's other stars. Last night was a good night for the sport. You just have to many tears to see it right now.

The fact that so many BGOL dudes can't see what they did here is hilarious!! And the fact that most of you are using  and  constantly, really magnifies how slow you are, and what Arum and the crew was counting on... Illogical people..

Bottom line is, Manny/PBF had lost a lot of it's momentum, so controversy had to be created. I believe that might have worked with Marquez but he wouldn't bite, so he had to be moved from the equation. Bradley has NOTHING to lose! He keeps his 140 belt, wasn't expected to win, and now, he gets a MAJOR payday, and gets to go back to 140 with belt in tact and keep it moving.

Manny needed this controversy, because it was really getting boring watching him fight overmatched fighters, and winning decisions... so they had to shake shit up a little... Bradley can't punch, and is not much of a threat, so the ass whipping Manny will put on him in the rematch is really without too much risks, and creates this 'He back whipping peoples ass' impression of him, just in time to trump up a PBF fight...

Bradley all but gave the scenario away, by promoting a date and time for the rematch BEFORE the fight even took place.... I'd never rob a bank with his ass!!!

Why do keep reading this dumb shit all over the net

every major champion has a rematch clause in the fight contract in the event they lose

from floyd to tyson

this is nothing new

Boring is watch a gu covering up, ducking, and running all the time. Manny at least tries to hurt mofos. But I think it is over. He has been in way to many wars and is getting over. I think he will push himself for two more fights against Timmy and quit. Timmy needs to find a way to get power. I mean for a 29-0 brawler with no power he has done well. I like th confidence he had in that fight. He showed a lo of heart. I thought he lost. But he impressed me.

:yes:The November date was set before Bradley was picked for an opponent for last night.

Of course Bradley would think there was going to be a rematch, he, unlike most people, thought he was going to win.
Even a brutal Pacquaio win in Nov wouldn't clean this up for there to be some mega fight with Floyd Mayweather.

That is boring. Fortunately there aren't any top stars like that.

Let's not pretend Manny has all these tremendous fights. He's had some boring fights too (Diaz, Clottey, Margarito, Mosley).

Your hatred for Mayweather is almost clinical. Manny lost last night, Floyd won a great fight a month ago and somehow Floyd fans are going to cry in the car????

Never said the rematch wasn't normal... the fact that he was trumpeting a date and time, etc. is not normal...

Also, the big test for me will be if Bradley gives up his 140 belt to defend the 147 belt. If he does, then I eat my mutual conspiracy words... If he doesn't , it's obvious he knows he is part of a short term BS Plot... :hmm:

The date was already set for Pacquiao (Arum usually has a Pac fight in Nov and pretended like it was an option when Floyd got out).

I don't see the connection with whether he surrenders the 140 title. Most guys don't give up titles until stripped unless they're ducking someone.

you focus on the dumbest shit. I wrote all that stuff and all you saw was the comments about pbf. Pbf fans who wanted the fight with manny should cry in the car cause it ain't happening. You like pbf's style. Cool. Do I call you gay or say you are in love with him? Stop crying about me not liking dude's style and saying I am a hater. Pbf is the best defensive fighter I have ever seen. His style is pretty much unbeatable. But saying thamt doesn't mean I can't be critical. I don't like fights where one fighter carries another. I like fights like what we saw last night. I disagree with the verdict. But fuck it. That's boxing. Better Manny get robbed than Timmy. Go back in the car, lol.

To the OP everything you said was right….except you forgot one thing

PBF's last fight was anything but boring

and as was noted last night…it took 5 YEARS to get the Hagler Leonard fight to get made…FIVE years

Its still quite possible we will see the PACMAN Mayweather fight…..somewhere down the line

but I doubt it realistically

They have the clause that is true.

They don't usually have the date though.

And since they already locked in the date that means Arum never intended to let mayweather get money fighting Pac.

Arum is butt hurt that he was cut out of the Mayweather money train and has acted like a little bitch ever since

Lol, everyone knew they were not fighting this year.

Tim might need to add some meat to his diet. That might be the thing that hurts his power.

Just an observation.

What a robbery ..... I'm not writing in with enough substance to demand a response .... But we know the deal ... Your fight break down was totally wrong ... Your a Great boxing mind ... I respect u ... I said in my last email PAC would own Bradley .... PAC won 10 rounds easily ... 9 at minimum ... I will keep a mental log ..... I shall see your response to other people .... Do your thing homie .... But your analysis was very off ... Which isn't bad ... We can all b wrong ... GOD SPEED
Bread’s Response: First off let me say that I thought Manny Pacquiao won this fight handily. I publicly apologize to him for disrespecting his greatness. But my breakdown was NOT totally WRONG. Look at the video again. I told you guys that the decision would be controversial in Bradley’s favor. I also said the judges would subconsciously rule in Bradley’s favor because of the Marquez fight. Then if you listened to me close, I told you guys that Manny would NOT be able to “put out” as much as Bradley.

As much as I thought Pacquiao handled Bradley and showed he was the superior fighter. Pacquiao does not have that step on the gas mechanism he once did. In my opinion he has officially slipped. He is still clearly better than Tim Bradley, but his inability to step on the gas, gave those judges a HORRIBLE excuse to rob him. Bradley was breathing hard after four rounds and ready to GO. Pacquiao sort of let him off the hook and allowed Bradley to hustle his way in the championship rounds and that’s exactly where they stole the fight from him. I had a terrible gut feeling that Bradley would win and I couldn’t believe I was picking against Manny. For the record Manny won that dam fight and I am upset but I felt the outcome would be this…..

...because of course I give a damn if my opinion hold weight with you. :cmonson: Stop crying. Manny took an 'L'. Deal with it.

Did you read anything I wrote? I don't have a problem with Manny losing this fight. Yeah it was a gift. But it was a gift Manny gave Timmy. All Manny had to do was to fight hard and be the aggressor in the championship rounds. He didn't and lost. I actually am looking forward to a trilogy. Lol, deal with what. I am kind of happy with how shit turn out. Maybe Manny quits and that is cool. He has lost a step. This really makes me not want to see him fight PBF more. He has lots quite a few steps. I always said Manny vs PBF is an easy win for PBF. Now it would be a massacre. PBF once again avoided a prime opponent. Kudos to him, but sucks for boxing fans.

I only read the OP so I'm not sure if this was said already, but this was most likely a fix set up from Arum to make sure the superfight never happens while giving his cash cow opportunities to get big PPV match-ups w Bradley and probably Marquez again(I was feeling like the fix was in after the first round :smh: )If that wasn't the case then I agree that he needed to close the show, because Bradley stayed game and alert even when he was getting rocked... Something that can be misinterpreted by judges, especially if they suck

Why are you trying to pull us into your misery. Floyd does not and did not need or depend on Pacquiao. In his last fight, Floyd was guaranteed $35 million, a share of everything sold in the arena, and a generous share of the pay-per-view; he paid Cotto $8 million + pay per view. In this fight, Pacquiao and Bradley were guaranteed $5 million each, with Pacquiao getting some of the pay per view to a potential total of $20 mil...Do you think that Floyd needs Pacquiao??? Your misery was yours alone...I thought it was a bullsit decision even though I hate Pacquiao and like Bradley

Why would PBF fans be upset about last nights fight? It just further proved that no one is on that man's level. I dont even like Floyd's personality but I respect his skills in that ring.

I will say this, Manny's fights are boring at times by no fault of his own. You can't dance unless you have a willing partner and all of the fights you named, he pushed the fights, and the other fighters were in survival mode... Floyd has laid some eggs too, but that's primarily because he is by nature a counter puncher...

I really do feel you though, as how can Floyds people be upset.... unless a fight for november was signed already which we all know isn't true. Manny losing last night isn't a major obstacle to a PBF fight, as most knowledgable people know he won that fight last night, and it will not take any luster off of a Mayweather fight... Has nothing to do with anything, as a matter of fact, once Manny fights Bradley again and beats the shit out of him, it will ADD to the anticipation of a potential Mayweather fight... Notice I said potential, as I don't see these fools fighting... at least while it matters to anyone... :smh:

But

Timmy didn't win that fight:smh:

He got the decision. That is what you fight for. Manny gave away this fight the same way Juan did last time they met. Manny will be fine. Timmy needs to come out and say I am shocked I got the decision over a legend, but I fought the best I could. And if the judges felt that was worthy of a victory. Then so be it and I will see you at the second fight. I like Timmy. I think it was a good fight. The better fighter lost but not so much becaus he was robbed. But because he thought he could take a night of and still get the victory.

Nigga saying US like he's on Floyds payroll...

You can't do that any more. You win a belt in another weight class or win a higher level belt (state-regional-national-international-world), you have to relinquish one of the belts. In case of the latter, as you go up the total pole, the lower level title is automatically vacated.

Manny has slipped. Him and PBF fighting is so pointless now it isn't funny. Not because Manny lost. But because Manny has shown he has lost what made him the man.

Nah, he has a choice as he can get to the rematch, and fight it before he has to make that decision, unless his lower weight mandatory accepts step aside money...

I fought the temptation to believe this for a very long time, but now, with the pressure mounting and the chance of getting caught, his performance starts to 'slip'...

If we are honest, Manny of a few years ago would have beaten the shit out of Bradley, who to me is seriously not much better than Ricky Hatton... :smh:
