the crash did not kill them the safety harnesses they had on they could not get out of so they drowned.. I guess the pilot had more experience and knew how to get freeIt didn't look that bad to me either, though I wouldn't want to be in there.
Is it possible that some of them drowned?

the crash did not kill them the safety harnesses they had on they could not get out of so they drowned.. I guess the pilot had more experience and knew how to get free

Damn all the passengers died. Only the pilot survived. I see a huge lawsuit comingIt didn't look that bad to me either, though I wouldn't want to be in there.
Is it possible that some of them drowned?

You gotta get out of your harness first to help the others...and if the shit sank to fast to get to them.I guess “Captain going down with the ship” doesn’t apply to pilots.![]()
Thats what I think. The impact was nothing. It didn't look that bad to me either, though I wouldn't want to be in there.

pilot is really lucky to be alive - the current was no joke, and the water is ice cold - if he didn't have a life jacket / preserver - I don't know how he didn't drownYou gotta get out of your harness first to help the others...and if the shit sank to fast to get to them.
.
in the vid rescuers were saying the current took the helicopter over 20 blocks south of where they were and it was still moving
Exactly ViCiouS....and everyone is quick to forget....that pilot gets in & out of his harness thousands of times....the passengers once...maybe twice....and per witnesses...the copter flipped over in minutes !!!!pilot is really lucky to be alive - the current was no joke, and the water is ice cold - if he didn't have a life jacket / preserver - I don't know how he didn't drown
