When I saw Harlem Nights late last year I told my brother that he looked familiar and looked it up on IMDb to see that he was the strong man from Roots, the one who Kunta Kinte recognized once he got on the slave ship.

I remember him from Richard Pryor's "Moving" as a mover Pryor hired. His scenes were some of the funniest in that movie.
