If the defendant admits he lied, and you have no eveidence of the two of them creating a premeditated plan to cover up, you have no case.

In the case of Laquan McDonald all the police on the scene filed false "perjured" reports that were proven false when the video was released .

Just as the cop that watched Walter Scotts shooter plant the taser filed a false report.
