al did appear (to me at least) to manifest a behavior a bit flitty.

all the older folks were talking about it earlier when i was out visiting. it was never a secret mr. jarreau lived a secret behind the closet lifestyle and of course he passes on complications which you normally see with victims afflicted.

all the same, great talented performer that will be missed.

:(Man man man. Peaceful journey to Al Jarreau.

This is one of the biggest artist coincidences I've experience. I found out he passed while looking up some information on him. Been thinking about his legacy for the past few weeks for some reason I said, I'm going to really sit down (while doing my project) and really digest some of his older projects. Just figuring out why he is so legendary. This morning was that start.

An article I came across, says passes Feb 12, and I'm like bs, because that's today. Man. Too talented a musician. Some great work so far. I started with his self titled album and will check out some others at full length. RIP.

Wow. Was and still a HUGE fan. If you don't have it, go out and get his album "All Fly Home". That was my introduction to his music waaaaay back in the day. I still play that album. Also, Brenda Russell's song "Way Back When" was written for him. She's was basically saying that when she first saw him in the small clubs, she knew he was going to be famous.

I didn't know that about this song! I love this song - I frequently play this song on my drive to work. This was when they used real violins instead of synthesizers - this was a hell of an arrangement.

I knew that Brenda Russell had another song called "Jarreau". He would sometimes play it before he started his set.

What!? As you can see, I'm a very big fan of his, and this is the first time I have heard this. I'm just gonna focus on his legacy of great music and leave it at that.
