How do you get rid of acne scares

Anybody actually done proactive? If so how long does it take to remove the scares?

Please give other suggestions.

Accutane. Read up on it but it works. I had acne scars and stuff and it cleared it up. There are side effects but guaranteed results. Ask your physician for a referral to a dermatologist. You won't be disappointed.

Agree... I saw one... and he gives me this skin bleach... to help get my skin back to normal...Also their is the peel the docotor can give you to pull off the old dark spots...

That shea butter is the truth. I have been using it for about 4 months now and it has removed a couple of dark moles off my face.

I wouldn't touch that Accutane. I took it back in 2001 and the side effects were horrible and I had to have my cholesterol checked once a month while on it. New dermatologist prescribed Oscion (a 10% benzoyl peroxide cleanser) and a cream I apply at night called Tazorac. My skin has never been this clear. It only took a couple weeks to clear up.

There is now laser surgery for acne scars that may work for you. Let us know how it turns out.

ProActiv worked for me. The only thing is, i didn't use it as described on the bottle. I put the cleanser on my face and left ii on for a couple of hours. But i have oily skin, so that might be too much for others.
