Lamarr, actinanass, I DEMAND AN APOLOGY!

Investigation finds no evidence Holder knew of 'Fast and Furious' gun-running sting

Sooooo..........The executive branch investigates the executive branch and exonerates itself.

This doesn't surprise me.

Me thinks your response would be quite different if the ruling was the other way around

Why would it be illegitimate to investigate how much Holder knew about such a terrible idea ran by a department he is responsible for?

The accusation is this was a waste of time and only happened because Holder is black. So apologize.

Re: Lamarr, actinanass, I DEMAND AN APOLOGY!

I think the major complaint was the 'timing' of the Congressional Committee's investigation (it knew that the OIG was conducting an investigation and it knew damn well that the OIG reports to it). Hence, it could have waited to hear from its investigative arm -- but I suppose it couldn't resist the possibility of saying, "what did he know and when did he know it" -- fast on the heels of the approaching election.

Of course, and I respectfully admit, that I personally didn't like the nasty tone of the Republican-led committee's inquiry - and it appeared to me the major point of the the committee's efforts were aimed at but one thing: embarrass the President.

Re: Lamarr, actinanass, I DEMAND AN APOLOGY!

I just went back and read the previous poster-comments in this thread -- trying to understand the "illegitmate" comment (since my "find on this page" search hadn't turn up a previous use of the term). Are you the "sidekick" LOL ???

I don't know if the term has been used before, but timing doesn't seem to be one of the OP's complaint.

I was thinking about calling him out for making a new thread about it, because this makes it easier to hide his nonsense in the other thread.

Greed, I don't know what was in the mind of the OP and I try to avoid mental speculation. In fact, 'Speculation' is my favorite objection when witnesses venture into the realm of para-psychology -- to opine upon what they think someone else thought.

So, I'll take a seat, and let him respond.

I made a new thread because the usual suspects tend to male wild accusations (i.e. throw stones from behind rocks} and then abandon the thread when exposed.

Placing the demand at the top of the board minimizes the excuses (i.e. not wanting to type from Android).

If the current accuser wants to reference the original post, all he as to do is click on the link on the first thread. He seemed to have a lot to say their.

And after all of this, I have yet to hear from the accused.

Re: Lamarr, actinanass, I DEMAND AN APOLOGY!

This is I'm gonna say, then I will rest:

If Holder genuinely didn't know, the mere fact that he didn't know makes him guilty of dereliction and gross incompetence leading to the death of a Federal Agent. So either he knew and should be indicted for complicity, or he didn't know and should be indicted for negligence. What his own personal investigator happens to uncover about his own personal role here is frankly irrelevant.

Go take your conspiracy theory, paid to post ass back to Hannity's board! You came on here right after President Obama won and done nothing but throw innuendo and accusations. You haven't been right yet.

Sometimes, its better to just shut the fuck up . . . so that people won't know whether you simply harbor sour grapes, OR you really don't know any better.

That statement is wrong in ways too numerous to count. But, first and foremost, there is NO rule, law, regulation or reasoning that would make one culpable as you described, merely because he/she doesn't know a thing.

That would be tantamount to saying you, Lamarr, are guilty of dereliction and gross incompetence for making the statement above - because there is no such rule as you attempted to impose on the Attorney General -- even though you did'nt know that there is no such rule, law, regulation, reasoning, etc.

Secondly, stop making up the facts. It has NEVER been shown that a "fast/furious" gun resulted in the agents death. YOU made that up! "[T]two firearms sold under the program surfaced at the site of Terry's murder, though they were never linked directly to his death."

Again, lets see how your ill-conceived rule applies to YOU:

The Office of the Inspector General -- is independent of each of the federal agencies that it sits atop; it reports directly to Congress.

Hence, for either refusing to understand that or because you just didn't know, LOL, YOU are guilty of dereliction and gross incompetence.
